Dr. Cliff Skinner, CPS, FPS, founded Clear My Name Foundation to turn personal pain into purposeful action for others.
A Certified Peer Specialist and Forensic Peer Specialist, he brings professional expertise and lived experience in behavioral health, reentry, fatherhood, recovery, and community engagement.

After experiencing false accusations that resulted in nearly three years of pretrial incarceration before the criminal charges against him were withdrawn with prejudice, Dr. Skinner experienced firsthand how an accusation can devastate a person’s freedom, family, livelihood, reputation, and future—even after the legal case ends.
That experience became the foundation for Clear My Name Foundation. As Founder and CEO, he leads its strategic direction, partnerships, education, and development of services designed to support individuals and families impacted by false accusations, wrongful prosecution, wrongful conviction, and the lasting consequences of justice-system involvement.
